Positive Effects Of Population Density
Population density is something that has to be in every country as it deals with the number of people or citizens occupying that particular country. It is therefore important to know that population density of a country is not the same as population distribution of that particular country as this has been a major challenge to a large number of people from different parts across the globe. Population density can therefore be defined as the total number of people in a country while population distribution is mainly concerned with how people are distributed in different parts of a country. Population density can however divided into two parts which are found in various parts of the globe. There are a lot of benefits that also come with the two classes of population densities.
Population can be high and thus resulting to a high population density which is the first type of population density. High population density generally comes as a result of high number of the people in a country compared to the general size of the country. Generally a high population density is preferred to low population density because of the major benefits that it has brought to most of the countries with high number of people or citizens. This therefore implies that most of the countries with high population density have been able to grow in various different ways. Some of the major reasons why high population density in a country would also be beneficious are discussed below.
In most of the cases, areas with a large number people tend to be much better not only to work but also yo live. Because of better living areas in highly populated areas a large number of people in various countries tend to lead their lives in many urban areas. Generally, large number of people in various countries tend to promote high levels of productivity which is very important especially in various workplaces. A high population density generally promotes a high number of workers in various job places and thus resulting to high level of productivity. Countries with high number of people also get more taxes something that greatly contributes to the general growth of the economies in such countries. Lastly, high population density also contributes to increasing the gross national income of a country through generation of more funds as well as various products and services.
The second class of population density is a low population density where a large sized countr3y has few number of people. A great benefit of low population density is that the level at which natural resources are exploited is very low. The level of pollution and deforestation in low populated countries is also very low. Low population density is also very beneficious to various countries as it helps to curb congestions especially in various urban areas.
